Welcome to Docster
This is a Telemedicine site, which means that you will actually see and speak to a doctor. You will need a webcam (Camera) with microphone. If you can skype then you will be OK, if not there are many plug and play webcams available on the market at reasonable costs.
This works best on a desktop or laptop computer, however, it also works on your phone or tablet as well.
To log in you will need to supply your email and then pick a password.
You will then be taken through several pages of personal and medical information that will populate a Medical History that your doctor can view as he/she speaks with you. The information gathering only takes about 2 minutes.
It is important that you are honest with us so we can give you the best care possible. Don’t worry, your personal medical information is protected by the federal government under the HIPPA laws. Only you, your designees and medical personnel are allowed to view your information.
After you have completed the questionnaire, you will be prompted to describe your current medical issue.
You will be asked to fill in your credit card information.
Once accepted you will be sent to see the physician.
If for any reason and at any point, you decide to not be seen, you will not be charged.
After the consult:
If you are prescribed a medication, it will be called into the pharmacy that you have listed. Please make sure you provide this information as it is necessary to receive a prescription.
If you give us permission we will send the results of our consult to your PCP via email.
In 48-72 hours we will call to check on you. We hope you are better but if you are not then it might be time to see a doctor face to face.
If you call Docster back within 72 hours for the same issue we will NOT see you for safety reasons. Your safety! If you are requiring a second callback then you should see a doctor face to face. For a new issue we will happily see you.
